You get more control and you can actually walk into their office and point out what you want change. A couple things you may want to consider is having them set it up with a CMS system like WordPress. This gives you control over the site and you’re able to add content information other stuff into the site. The other thing you want to do is set some stats up this allows you see what’s happening with the website. You can see how many visitors are visiting your website, what action those visitors are taking and where any problems lie if you’re not getting a return on your investment with the website. The other thing you want to do is try and engage the 98% of people that land on your website that will not take any form of action. This is the majority of the people landing on your website in the way you engage these people is by giving them something rather be content a free e-book something that you give them that will make them return to the website as well as possibly sign up for newsletter and give you their contact information. I would also go with a light gray or white background because light gray and light blue convert the best but they all what they don’t always go with the website very well. The reason I said don’t go with the light blue background is because I would try and use them dark blue colors in the website is not going to look right with the light blue background and dark blue on the website. I can do a ton of different things. I need to go ahead and get an auto responder account first. A lot of the gurus would say that I don’t need a list to make money online. However, most gurus have great lists, and that’s how they make their money. I am going to get the best auto responder. I could start with a cheap one or even a free one, but as I grow it’s going to be difficult to take the subscribers from my old auto responder and put them in the new one. So, I am going to start with the best. I believe the very best one is Aweber at this moment. Now I want to give something away in return for them signing up and agreeing to be on my list. So, building a list is nothing more than actually going ahead and offering a free gift to the audience. I guess you could call it an opt-in incentive. This is basically something like, I get their name and email address to build my list and in return, I give them a gift. What I will do is write an e-book to giveaway. Mow I will join some giveaway events and start submitting my gift, and building my list. From here I can upgrade and then make money from the giveaway event. Most people don’t know about that, and that’s the reason why they don’t upgrade. If you upgrade in a giveaway event, you actually get an option to submit a paid offer. You know, you can actually put your own sales page right in the giveaway event and make money from it. So, you basically get back your investment. I want to join a giveaway event, upgrade, make sure I submit a good gift, have a special offer at the back end, and I can actually start building my list and making money. Now I do need to say one thing, there are a lot of giveaway events out there that really don’t do very well. They’re not very big, they’re not very popular. So I need to really look for some of the bigger-name marketers that put on events. People like Jason James, and Stephanie Mulac. There are a few others that do really big giveaway events. But those are the two that I am going to try.   Another thing I want to do is solo ads. I want to pay someone upfront to email their list promoting my service. If they have a list of 10,000 subscribers, and get me several hundred clicks to my website I should be able to get at least a couple hundred on my list. If it works I think it’s a great way to build my first email list. It’s relatively inexpensive; I believe it goes for something like $0.30 per unique visitor. So, I could get a lot of targeted visitors very quickly, a lot cheaper than if I were to spend on, Adwords or Facebook advertising or for that matter any traditional form of advertising. There are a lot of people out there who will sell solo ads for $50 or $100. There are a lot of solo ads that sell for a lot more money. I’ve seen solo ads sell for $300 to $1,000. But there are some people that sell much smaller packages to get started and those are the people I want to talk to. SoloAdDirectory.com is one of those people. I’ll just shoot them an email and say ”Hey, would you be able to do a smaller solo for $50 or so to a certain amount of people?” and see if they’re willing to do it. There’s definitely people out there that would gladly send out a promotion to something that they know they can make some quick money right away and get you a few hundred visitors very quickly and easily that day, as opposed to not making that sale at all. So I will definitely look into that because that’s a targeted way to build my list. So, the idea is to look for a good internet marketer who has a reputable list.
