You can find somebody locally to go with it’s always better. You get more control and you can actually walk into their office and point out what you want change.
A couple things you may want to consider is having them set it up with a CMS system like WordPress. This gives you control over the site and you’re able to add content information other stuff into the site.
The other thing you want to do is set some stats up this allows you see what’s happening with the website. You can see how many visitors are visiting your website, what action those visitors are taking and where any problems lie if you’re not getting a return on your investment with the website.
The other thing you want to do is try and engage the 98% of people that land on your website that will not take any form of action. This is the majority of the people landing on your website in the way you engage these people is by giving them something rather be content a free e-book something that you give them that will make them return to the website as well as possibly sign up for newsletter and give you their contact information.
I would also go with a light gray or white background because light gray and light blue convert the best but they all what they don’t always go with the website very well. The reason I said don’t go with the light blue background is because I would try and use them dark blue colors in the website is not going to look right with the light blue background and dark blue on the website. The blue builds trust and you really want to build trust with the website.
